This episode is still coming. In October, I had a computer failure. The files for this episode are trapped on an external hard drive for which I can't currently find the necessary cords. There was a dock for it on the computer that died. The new computer does not have this dock.
As soon as I locate the cords (or, more likely, get another drive, which will come with the cords I need), I will get to work to put this episode out for you, the faithful. I do apologize for the delay.
On the Schedule
This schedule is subject to change, right up until the start time of the show. (I'm just a meanie-head like that.)

fab|2.0 - EPISODE 011 - SMT #30: Simon Birch
Specific Movie Talk:
"One of my favorite movies ever is about a small boy who believes he has a destiny: That God put him on this earth to be a hero and that he is God's instrument. His best friend is a 12-year-old boy named Joe, who doesn't know who his father is. At the risk of jumping right to the end, they will both fulfill their destiny on the same day. The movie? Simon Birch."

fab|2.0 - EPISODE 010 - Archetypes
Topic Chat:
"Good characters jump off of the screen and into our hearts. Whether we root for the underdog, cheer when justice is served to the evil-doer, or shed a tear when the heroine gets the guy before the credits roll, these characters are built like any other construct of fiction. Tonight's movie topic explores the surface of the basic structure of characters archetypes and how they coexist in a cinematic masterpiece. (Don't get your hopes up for any truly MEANINGFUL conversation, of course -- after all, this IS flick-a-brac.) "

Owner Frank LaFleur must come up with $50,000 in under a month, or Average Joe's will be a casualty in Globo-Gym's quest for world domination. It's a desperate, last-ditch idea, but Frank and his misfit band of irregulars enter a national Dodgeball tournament in Las Vegas. The prize? Conveniently enough, it's the $50,000 he needs to keep his place open just a little longer. Starring Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller, Dodgeball contains just enough laughs to make it this month's Specific Movie Talk."
